Melody has recently graduated from Bath Spa University with BA (Hons) Performing Arts. She began performing at the age of 5 at Banstead Operatic, taking part in the opening scene of Carousel. Since then Melody has been performing in both plays and musicals. After graduating she has worked as a children’s entertainer at Thorpe Park and Madame Tussauds, as well as performing in a touring pantomime and a corporate film.
Melody has been teaching since she was 17, at Stagecoach Leighton Buzzard for 4 – 7 year olds. After she graduated she began teaching 8 – 16 year olds at the same school, as well as hosting children’s parties. Melody is passionate about bringing creativity into drama and performance, by using relevant material and thinking outside of the box to produce something everyone will enjoy creating, performing and watching. Her other skills include stage combat, grade 8 singing and physical theatre. She recently received a distinction for her ATPA teaching diploma.
